The Bestest Peanut Butter Cookies EVER
Or something like that. The cookie dough tasted great, anyways!
I would post a pic for you all, but the problem is--they got eaten up too quickly for me to grab Mom's camera. Oops! Here's the recipe for you guys;
Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of shortening (half butter or margarine)
1/2 cup of peanut butter
1/2 cup of white sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar (make sure that it's packed)
1 egg
1 1/4 cups of flour
1/2 tsp. of baking powder
3/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions:
Mix shortening, peanut butter, both sugars, and egg thoroughly. Blend all dry ingredients; stir into shortening mixture. Chill dough. Heat oven to 375. Roll dough into 1 1/4 '' balls. Place 3'' apart on a lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten crisscross style with fork. Bake 10-12 minutes. Supposedly makes about 3 dozen cookies, but we all know that that's a lie, so really, who knows? 2 dozen? 1?
